I, first and foremost realize that you are a human being. You are first Shaffer Chimere Smith before you are Ne-Yo. You are not a figment of my imagination or pretend. You exist, live and breathe on this planet as do I. You are a being with real feelings and a genuine soul. Warm blood runs through your veins, real tears run down your cheeks and laughter is food for your soul. Life is difficult sometimes, but what's sad is that some people exist to make it difficult. You are indeed a celebrity and as you know, that brings positives and negatives. The dreadful comments are nothing more than hatred and jealousy. Negativity runs its course in all of our lives. But they will soon weary, fade away and wear out. When people choose to let hatred consume them, it identifies that the devil also lives and breathes. But we would never know beauty without sorrow. The positives are what live inside of you. They will never fade and will continue to reap from your beautiful soul. I am so blessed to know you and I thank you for being the person that you are.
