bang the doldrums

i'm despondent. I REALLY want to go to the SF show sunday with my friend, but my father won't allow it because " the kids in SF are different and its a really dangerous area."
but i want to go more than anything. ANYTHING. ive only seen FOB live once before and i loved it.

theres just no convincing my father. i entered for free tickets so i would have to go, but the chances of me winning are slim.

suggestions please?
