HEY EVERYONE!!!

I may not be on this site as often as I used to be before, but I still love every bit of Ne-Yo and still suppoprt him all of his work, aint nothing nor anybody gonna change that. I spend more time on twitter and facebook with some of my friends from this site and we show our Gentleman love via that medium. To stop loving and suppporting Ne-Yo is something that is almost unfathomable to me, so I'll be a supporter of his for a long time ...For t hose who still frequent this site, enjoy it, because it is really a good site for interacting with fellow-fans and getting information directly from Ne-Yo and stop visiting those gossip sites and absorbing the garbage they spread about our boy. I miss all my friends from here...buty if you're on twitter I'm Rans22 or simply Rans on facebook. peace to all :)))) *Rans*

I HAVE NO TIME FOR THAT!!!!!!

I joined this blog on September 11, 2008 after simply looking at articles on the internet about the singer who had captivated me, Ne-Yo. I was extremely excited to find a place where I can see updates from him and also interact with other supporters like myself. The blog instantly became my secondary place of abode and my family wanted to know why I was always on the site, they simply didn’t get it and still don’t. I love the persona I see Ne-Yo portray in the public eye. He has not been perfect and will never be, like any other human and for that I love him the more. I became friends with quite a few women here; the closest is Sharvie who I value as a true and dear friend. I am thankful to God for bringing her into my life and also Ne-Yo for without his music and this site we would have never become such close friends. It has become increasingly upsetting for me when I see people join Ne-Yo’s blog and spend more time talking about other celebrities than they do him. The site is HIS!!!!!There is a section in the forum section designated to the discussion of other singers. I am not pointing fingers at anybody, who the cap fits, let them wear it. I find it extremely insultive to the man when all this time is dedicated to others on his blog, created by him for his fans. I am a fan of other celebrities and have mentioned others myself here, but I dedicate my time here to the man I have a lot of respect and admiration for. If you want to talk about others, then simply go on their blog and do so. I looked at another singer’s blog recently, read the comments and nothing was said there about any other entertainer. I believe that Ne-Yo deserves respect and he has damn right earned it! If you want to mention another working along with him that is fine, but using his site to promote another is utterly insolent. Doing that is no different from doing what the few haters come here and do. Let the man, although we do not get direct responses from him enjoy his site, he has said repeatedly that he reads the comments and I believe that time has restricted him from replying but he does address his fans all the time showing his appreciation for the continuous support. I wanna come on Ne-Yo’s site and talk about him and his work, celebrate the man’s success. Anyone who makes any comments to me about any other singer/celebrity will be ignored from henceforth!!That is just how I see things. I named no one directly but as mentioned previously, who the cap fits... I REMAIN AN AVID SUPPORTER OF THIS GENIUS!!!!! *Rans*

ME MEETING NE-YO!!

It was the same cousin of mine who told me about the z100 show that told me about this event that was happening at Macys Herald Square. When I heard at first I started hyper-ventilating!! Then I tried to listen and calm down before I had a heart attack. So that day (11/05/08)..I missed class again and headed for the city. When I got there I had to ask if it was really happening. After they assured me that it was no hoax I proceeded to buy the cologne...(hugo boss)..Honestly I am not someone who dies over brands but hey I had to buy it to get that pic so hey..I paid for it and got my pass...I was still shaking and trying to absorb it all thinking that in just a few hours I'll get to meet him!! I wondered if this was all happening to me so soon after I saw him for the first time...

I bought the cologne before midday and he wasn't gonna be there until 5 pm...so I had a few hrs to kill and tried to browse the city...but I was unable to relax...so I headed back to the store and just walked around and around continuously. 1pm, 2pm ,3pm all took so long to pass..anxiety had taken the best of me....some of the employees kept telling me the time would soon come...but I was more concerned with how I would behave...cuz I know myself!

They finished the setting up and kept playing his music..and I did my lil dance right there in the store...Some of the employees didn't even know who Ne-Yo is but they knew "Closer" and "Miss Independent" and love those songs...well who doesn't!
So finally they said to start lining up and we had to wait outside for a while then porceeded in ...ok...4:50 pm and my heart began racing....about 15 ppl were infront of me and they announced that he'll be coming out in a while and that he was already in the building...this only increased my anxiety...5:00pm...he was coming down..
The announcement came ...are you guys ready to see Ne-Yo...YEAH!!!!...I yelled out...he took the mic and thanked everyone for coming out...I couldn't see him from where I was but was able to hear! damn..was I excited!

So the line stared to move and it couldn't move any slower for me...Then I was able to see him and was surprised that he not only took the pic with everyone but actually spoke to every single person...that impressed me..but I was scared at the same time...cuz I wondered if I could maintain my composure!

Two ppl infront of me...one...I was next and was totally screaming...and panting for breath...the employees had to tell me to calm down..easy for them to say!

Then it was my turn...I stepped up..and the first thing he did..was smile and opened his arms to hug me....(OMG)...OMG I LOVE YOU....was the first thing I said and he smiled and replied...AND I LOVE YOU RIGHT BACK!!! Then I told him that I love the album and what he does...I told him that i got his shades at the meetmarket...he smiled and said OH THAT WAS YOU...I replied yes...I was so absorbed in his smile that I forgot that I was there to take a pic...
Then we took the pic and I wasn't even ready..all I thought about was that he was touching my hand and that our heads were pressed together and our arms were around each other...I did not want that moment to end...but hey it had to...many more were awaiting their chance...So he hugged me again and I wished him all the best, told him to keep doing what he does and told him I'll see him on the road...He said thanks and he smiled again!
boy was I sad to walk away...so I got my pic in my Macy's card....an autographed copy of YOTG...The cologne and a t-shirt..along with an experience that I shall never forget!

What initally drew me to Ne-Yo                                 the realness in his lyrics which makes his songs so easy to identify with and relate to

he believes in God and is never hesitant to acknowledge him for his success
his music is addictive and easily relatable...he is the only artist that i know who is able to pierce my soul with his music!
he is very different from other artists,
practices what he preaches,
empowers and appreciates women...close to his mom..and family,
shows vulnerability and emotion in his music,
sings live during performances,
he's damn handsome,
has a great and contagious smile,
and he loves his fans/supporters, speaks his mind,
takes risks that work for him,
doesn't walk around half-naked, always well-dressed ...fly!
shows humility and is honest, not afraid to admit when he's wrong
not afraid to be silly
and the list continues...

these are just a few of the things that i love so much about Ne-Yo :-)

totally excited

when i heard that z100 is having a show that Ne-yo would be performing at in NYC I said that i had 2 go..being such a huge fan of his...so i missed a class from school and headed down there with a friend i invited..
arriving early is really important..because not only were we infront of the stage but more importantly were were right in the center so when he came out he was infront of us..
we waited for hours but it was worth the wait... i was so saddened when i did not get to meet him in person but my night was about to brighten..not only was i going 2 c NE-YO but oh..
then he hit the stage...and i completely lost it..my earring was thrown from my ear..my bag hit the floor and my voice was lost...but hey..there he was standing about 6 feet away from me..
"I love you NE-YO"!!!! was the first thing i said when he came out hoping he heard me..then he sang "SO SICK" as well as almost everyone else..
oh here comes my luck
he came toward the stage..took his shades off...and put them in my hand..gosh i almost fainted...still not seeing clearly yet...
the rest of his performance had me moving and coming closer...by the time he ended i was wet..tired but still excited

i got one of my dreams..another is to met him and talk 2 him in person...but hey dreams do come true don't they..
will never 4get the night i saw my favorite singer and got his shades/sunglasses and its nice to see that they are louis vuitton but the most important thing is that he wore them and gave them to ME!! (someone who doesn't really believe in luck but rather good fortune)... which i am wearing in this photo by the way....lol

a very excited, extatic and eternally grateful
