Emotional Disconnect I agree that there is an emotional disconnect in R&B music. I think that is because the majority of us are disconnected from each other. R&B music is the reflection of our struggles, our passions, our victories and our defeats. It is how we express ourselves in any given emotional state. Therefore, the emotional disconnect does not fall on just a few Artist, but it is a reflection of our emotional state as well. Sex being the number one thing we are disconnected from because we take it for granted.
